Because most of the rough blanks produced by processing most of the prototye models now have burrs, knife marks, etc. Grinding is an essential process. Only after the polished product is painted and a series of treatments can it present a more exquisite product. Grinding is generally done with sandpaper. There are many grades of sandpaper. The smaller the number, the coarser the sand, and the larger the number, the finer the sand.
There are also several different ways to finely polish the prototype plate.
1. Wet grinding: Wet grinding is to use water sandpaper for grinding, because water grinding can reduce the grinding marks, improve the smoothness of the coating, and save labor.
2. Dry grinding: use sandpaper for fine grinding, suitable for brittle and hard paint grinding
3. Light grinding: It is used for grinding such as local repairs. Note that the grinding process should use fine sand for grinding
4. Mechanical grinding: For example, a large area of the prototype product needs to be polished, and if the grinding process is too long, you will choose to use a grinding machine for grinding
