Products Description

 

Fiberglass (Fibreglass) parts have the advantages of high strength, light weight, corrosion resistance, good insulation, and good heat resistance and impact resistance, which are suitable for applications requiring high strength but light weight. The main processing technology includes hand paste molding, vacuum bag molding, autoclave molding, molding, pultrusion molding, winding molding, RTM (resin transfer molding), etc. The specific process selection depends on the structure and production needs of the parts. The material is usually composed of glass fibers (E glass, S glass) compounded with resins (epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin). Post-treatment methods include grinding and polishing, painting, coating treatment, CNC finishing to improve surface quality, weather resistance, and overall performance.

✅ High strength & Lightweight: Higher specific strength than many metals, but lower density and lighter weight, suitable for lightweight design.

✅ Strong corrosion resistance: acid, alkali, salt and other chemicals have good resistance, suitable for Marine, chemical and other harsh environment.

✅ Excellent electrical insulation: non-conductive, widely used in electrical equipment and PCB materials (such as FR4).

✅ Good heat resistance: usually can withstand more than 150°C high temperature, some high-performance glass fiber can withstand more than 250°C.

✅ Good weather resistance: not easy to aging, can be used in the outdoor environment for a long time, not affected by ultraviolet light.

✅ Low thermal expansion coefficient: less affected by temperature changes, good dimensional stability.

✅ High economy: low production cost, long service life, high cost performance.
